The author considers the problem of the use of Perfekt and Prateritumtense fo rmstoexpress the actions in the past and possibilities of the irinterchangeability. The author also explains the use of Perfektor Prateritumin speaking and writing which causes difficulties in learning German as a foreign language.

У статті розглядається питання вживання часових форм Perfekt та Präteritum для подій у минулому, можливості їх взаємозамінюваності. Дається пояснення застосування перфектної або претерітальної часової форми при усному чи писемному мовленні, що викликає труднощі у вивчаючих німецьку мову як іноземну .
