(uk) У статті висвітлено погляди В. О. Сухомлинського щодо реалізації системи фізичного виховання школярів та зміцнення їхнього здоров'я. Розкрито психолого-педагогічні та гігієнічні засади організації педагогічного процесу Павлиської школи, спрямованого на розвиток здорової дитини, визначено умови зміцнення здоров’я школярів у виховній системі В. О. Сухомлинського.

Раскрыто психолого-педагогические и гигиенические основы организации педагогического процесса Павлышской школы, направленного на развитие здорового ребенка, определены условия укрепления здоровья школьников в воспитательной системе В. А. Сухомлинского.

en) The scientific article is devoted to the study of the problem of physical education and health promotion of schoolchildren in the pedagogical heritage of Sukhomlinsky. Uncovered psychological, pedagogical and hygienic foundations of the pedagogical process of the Pavlish school, aimed at the development of a healthy child, the conditions for strengthening the health of schoolchildren in the educational system Sukhomlinsky. In modern society life and health are recognized as the highest human values. Today one of the main objectives of the national educational system is nurture conscious attitude of schoolchildren to their health and health of the others, formation of the principles of hygiene and healthy habits, saving and improving of physical, psychological, social and spiritual child’s health. The aim of the study is to highlight the views of practical experience of V. Sukhomlynsky theory of healthy education of schoolchildren, clarify psychologico-educational, healthy-hygiene basics of nurture of the healthy child. On the basis of the analysis of pedagogical heritage V. Sukhomlynsky the outstanding pedagogical opinions about health problems of the child were highlighted. Psychological, educational, medical and hygienic principles of the educational process created by Pavlyskoyi «School of joy» of the development of a healthy child were exposed. Conducted scientific research suggests that V. Sukhomlynsky gives great attention to the care of children’s health, physical and spiritual harmony. V. Sukhomlinsky considers the most important factors that prevent the emergence of illnesses and contribute to the formation of the pupils 'physical and spiritual health, according to the pupils' age-related needs, involvement in the process of studying art and work, children's creativity; a reliance on the culture of mental labor, the proper provision of medical and hygienic conditions (proper nutrition, changes in work and rest regimes, tempering, etc.)
