Лінгвокультурологічний аспект вивчення фразеологізмів української та англійської мов

Abstract

(uk) Проведений контрастивний аналіз фразеологізмів з компонентом «серце» в українській та англійській мовах показує, що вони відіграють першочергову роль у формуванні фразеологічного значення, оскільки виступають у ролі мотивуючого компонента семантики аналізованих фразеологізмів. Визначається ступінь співвідношення семантики одиниць. Наголошується на чинниках, що беруть участь у розвитку аналізованих фразеологізмів.

(en) The article deals with the contrastive analysis of phrase logical units with the component "heart" in the Ukrainian and English languages. It is found out that they play a primary role in shaping the idiomatic meaning as a motivating component of semantics of the analyzed idioms. It determines the degree of correlation of phrase logical units. The factors involved in the development of the analyzed phrase logical units are emphasized. The revealed qualitative differences in the perception of the English and Ukrainian languages are determined by the peculiarities of national outlook and reflect some national specific associations and beliefs. A number of national specific representations of Ukrainian and English speakers about the concept of heart are distinguished. This concept symbolizes the center of the biological, spiritual, emotional, mental, social life of a man and it acts as a natural manifestation of the modern anthropocentric paradigm of linguistic knowledge. In the segmental structure of the concept the heart is distinguished by biomorphic signs, signs of inanimate nature, objective and spatial signs. In general, the complexity and dismembered structure of the investigated concept indicates its rather high significance in the minds of the carriers of comparable languages and the possibility of being included in a group of key concepts of comparable cultures.
