Мотив «роздвоєності» у творчості М. Хвильового (на матеріалі оповідання «Я (Романтика)»)

Abstract

(uk) Стаття присвячена творчості українського митця Миколи Хвильового, проза якого стала правдивим відображенням і осмисленням нового стану людини на тлі кризового часу. У статті досліджується феномен роздвоєння свідомості особистості у контексті психоаналізу З. Фройда, що знаходив творчі рецепції в художній літературі початку ХХ століття, зокрема розглянуто зміст та типи категорії амбівалентність. Велику увагу приділено вивченню деструктивно-амбівалентного стану людини, яка постала перед вимушеним вибором. Вивчаючи художній світ Миколи Хвильового, автор статті аналізує поетику характеротворення на матеріалі новели «Я (Романтика)». Важливий аспект статті складає дослідження поетики характеротворення, адже герої М. Хвильового діють в ситуаціях кризових, часом просто трагічних, про що свідчать хаотичні, обірвані, ламані внутрішні монологи; образи-символи (мертва дорога); прийом «емоційної хвилі» – швидка, динамічна зміна емоційних, вольових, пізнавальних станів героя. Аналіз психічних станів героя дозволив автору статті дослідити природу життєвої формули главковерха: « Я – чекіст, але я і людина».

(en) The article focuses on the work of the Ukrainian author Mykola Khvyliovyi, whose prose became the mirror and the conceptualization of the new state of a human in crisis, who unveiled the marginality of the human spiritual nature, easily succumbing to corrosion, depending upon the situation. The article looks in the matter of dissociative identity disorder phenomenon in terms of Freud’s psychoanalysis, who used to find creative receptions in the literature of the early 20th century, in particular, the content and types of the category of ambivalence were considered. A lot of attention was paid to the analysis of the destructive and ambivalent state of a human forced to make a choice. The research subject of the article is the work of the famous Ukrainian writer M. Khvyliovyi, who tried to understand the psychological mechanism, which allowed a human living in fear, and explored victim and torturer mentality. Going behind the artistic world of Mykola Khvyliovyi, the author of the article analyses the poetics of the character creation on the basis of the novella «Me (Romance)», emphasizing, that the story name and the dedication to it is of the utmost importance for understanding the dissociative identity disorder phenomenon. The composition of the piece looks quite interesting in terms of the matter under inquiry, since the novella has three composition centers. The first one is private and related to tragic events in the life of the protagonist. The tragic story of the mother and the son is cued into the background - the story of the national tragedy, describing the fratricidal war between the Versaillais and insurgents, who belonged to the same nation. And, finally, the author enters panhuman level: the story-teller sees the image of the Mother of God. The research of the poetics of character creation is the important aspect of the article, since characters of M. Khvyliovyi act in crisis, sometimes even in tragic situations, which is reflected in chaotic, torn and broken interior monologs; symbols (dead road); such literary device as «emotional surge» – fast, dynamic change of emotional, will and cognitive states of the protagonist. The analysis of the mental states of the protagonist allowed exploring the nature of his life formula: «I am a chekist, but I am also a human». The protagonist of M. Khvyliovyi is fanatically devoted to the commune, he is neurotically demonstrates his «iron ego», he is automatic and, simultaneously, down in his subconsciousness he feels fear for his inhuman fellows in arms and his kind mother. And even deeper than that, there is a little ray of contrition in his soul, but he does not realize it. He is a great sinner.
